Spiced Peanut Butter Swirl Cake

180°C / 350°F
375 mL (1 ½ Cups) of All-purpose Flour
10 mL (2 tsp.) of Baking Powder
125 mL (1/2 Cup of Sugar
A Pinch of Salt
1 Egg, Beaten
180 mL (3/4 Cup) of Milk
60 mL (1/4 Cup) Melted Butter
For The Peanut Butter Swirl:
60 mL (1/4 Cup of Melted Butter)
30 mL (2 Tbsp.) of Brown Sugar
60 mL (1/4 Cup) of P28 Peanut Butter, Softened
10 mL (2 tsp.) of Cinnamon
For The Glaze:
125 mL (1/2 Cup) Icing Sugar
60 mL (1/4 Cup) Milk
In a bowl, combine the flour with baking powder, sugar, and salt.
In another bowl with a whisk, mix the egg with milk and melted butter.
Carefully combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Put aside.
In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the peanut butter swirl.
Pour the cake batter into a parchment-lined 9-inch cake pan.
Drizzle the peanut butter swirl mixture into the cake mixture and, with the tip of a knife, make a swirl.
Cook in the center rack for 35 minutes.
While it cooks, mix the ingredients of the glaze.
While the cake is still warm, drizzle the glaze over the cake. Serve, and enjoy.
